About
Missing Assets
Over half of firms’ investments in developed markets are in intangible assets, things like; R&D, employee training programmes and marketing campaigns. However, accounting standards pretend they’re not there. Worse still, the rate of investment in intangibles continues to outstrip that of tangibles (plant, property and equipment). This blog is intended to help shine a light on these “missing” assets.
